The 13th Zurich Film Festlval will open tomorrow night at the Corso cinema with the Zurich’s Mayor Corine Mauch and many personalities. The two directors, Nadja Schildknecht and Karl Spoerri, are excited to present 160 productions. Twelve are world premieres and 38 are by female directors.
For those hoping to watch some personalities on the Green Carpet this year will come many women like Glenn Close, Alicia Vikander, Emmanuelle Seigner, Tonie Marshall, Marie Leuenberger and Monica Gubser.
Other personalities coming are Rob Reiner, Aaron Sorkinaal, the film Director Marc Forster, the musician Herbert Grönemeyer, the former American Vice President Al Gore and the actors Moritz Bleibtreu, Jake Gyllenhaal and Andrew Garfield.
The festival will last eleven days from September 28th to October 8th. If you are not familiar with the festival the films will be shown at the Corso cinema (Bellevue), the Arena Cinemas (Sihlcity), the Filmpodium and the Riffraff cinema.
Like the previous years the tent on Sechseläuten will play an important role.
