Barbara Bui brings joy and desire to the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Days
After Julien MacDonald and Roberto Cavalli Zurich Fashion Days receives Barbara Bui.
The French fashion designer with Vietnamese origins was in Zurich yesterday. She showed her Spring/Summer 2013 at the Schiffbau runway in front of an international crowd.

The French, professionals in the fashion world and lovers of Haute-Couture all know Barbara Bui, a woman in her mid-fifties, who started her clothing label in Paris in 1987. She also launched a bag, shoes and accessories line and even has her own perfume. Bui is known for her sophisticated and relaxed style. Some talks to describe her outfits about “Rock & Roll and Elegance”.
There will be much black in the air next Spring/Summer by Bui’s but also leather, mini dresses, sharp trousers cut, embroidered tops, blazers, capes and large bags. And don’t miss to look for her floral print bags!

Julia Winkler, the lucky winner of Annabelle Magazine’s award will have the chance to work with her for six months. Ms Winkler, a 26 year old Swiss native, living in Berlin, will move to Paris in hope’s to become one day as successful as Barbara Bui. She was noticed with her first collection “Pinky’s Dream, Watch the Room”. It was not an easy decision to select one winners between the five finalists, shares Bui. To be a good designer she says, you have to be strong and passionate.
