Cafés and restaurants in the country, on top of mountains or near lakes – Perfect for families

Finding a place to eat or drink which is child friendly with a nice view may be difficult but it is possible.

Here are a few suggestions I gathered for you:

Panorama Restaurant on Felsenegg

Located on Felsenegg 1

If you come from Uetliberg by foot or from Adliswil via the cable car, you will end up there. It has an amazing playground for older children. The view of the Zurich lake is breathtaking and from there it is perfect to watch the fireworks.

The restaurant is planning some activities for the Zürifäscht on July 2-3rd.

Located at 3,876 feet (1,090 meters)

This place is ideal if you are hiking to Mt Etzel. You can eat outside, ordering from the self service cafeteria. The playground is large and clean. Children can play while you enjoy the view.
