Feel the true spirit of Christmas with Bliss
Do you sometimes get the Santa blues? Would you like to spend a wonderful evening during the holiday season?
Then, what about a comedy acappella concert with Bliss?
After last year huge success Matthias, Tom, Claudio, Christian, Lucas and Viktor are back for the second year of MERRY BLISSMAS. On Sunday night the six men gave a powerful private performance at the Boulevard Theater in Zurich. For 1h30 min the crowd laughed, smiled while revisiting the magical world of Christmas.

The show is nicely rhymed with half comedy acts & songs. It has a mixture of German and English songs like “Santa Baby”, “Winter Wonderland”, “Santa is coming to town”, “White Christmas” and “Oh Christmas Tree” (revisited). This year Bliss even added a bit of Pop and Gospel music to the show.
There are many jokes, stories about the angel Gabriel, Bethlehem, the Wise Kings and talks about the Christmas wish list!
The group members are all Swiss except Viktor who comes from Hungary. Most are music teachers and song writers. The musical director, Matthias, lives in Lucerne and shared after the show that he is quite busy in addition to Bliss, with his choir and giving music lessons at a college.

They started with the choreography of the show in September. And after last week intense rehearsal in Toggenburg and the delightful show this weekend, no doubt the group is ready for its Première in Austria tomorrow.
Tom, one of the song writers, said with confidence that the show is even better this year due to longer rehearsals! It was surely wonderful to hear Claudio sing a little of Lili Marlène.
Bliss will give 21 concerts until Christmas with one in Munich and two in Zurich at the Papiersaal on December 14th & 15th. Don’t miss it. It is a great way to unwind and at least see one Santa or two before Christmas!

If you enjoy Bliss, the group will tour next year across Germany, Austria and Zurich with a new show called “Die Premiere”. The tour will start on Valentine Day and ends in Arosa on December 13th. During three weeks Bliss will be at the Hechtplatz Theater. A night with Bliss would make a great Christmas present.
