July 19th, 2010 – Photo of the week

Since my arrival in Switzerland I had always wanted to go to a festival for alphorns and yodeling. So that’s it, I went to my first one end of June!

Ok, looking at the picture, you can see it was not the most beautiful scenic place to take photos of alphorns! The festival was in a village near Zug but not on top of a mountain peak in the middle of a field with cows! However I enjoyed hearing the sound of the alphorns, hearing the yodlers and watching the 1 hour parade, which closed the 3 day festival.
