Sainte Chapelle stain glass window

Sainte Chapelle stain glass window in Paris

That’s it I finally visited the Sainte Chapelle (Holy Chapel) in Paris.  The chapel was built for the French king, Louix IX during the Middle Ages in the 13th century. It was a royal chapel.

What I like the most when I visit a sacred site is to check out the stained glass windows.

The Sainte Chapelle is re-known for its beautiful stained glass windows and roses. You can see some in the lower and upper chapels. The most beautiful ones are in the upper chapel.

If you come to Paris, stop by the Sainte Chapelle. It is worth queuing for it.
The Sainte Chapelle is located just next to the Conciergerie, 8 Boulevard du Palais in the 1st arrondissement.
