La Filature Contemporary Art Gallery presents Tableaux Vivants (Geneva)
The Contemporary art gallery La Filature presents its new exhibition “Tableaux Vivants” (Living Paintings) at the GenevArtSpace.

It is a project combining 12 artists from different backgrounds, styles and countries. They come from Switzerland (3), Belgium (2), Italy (2), USA (2), Canada (1) and the UK (1).

After the successful vernissage on Thursday last week with 5 of the artists like Claude Roegiers, Simone Monney and other special guests like Cliff Lee & DJ Marco Mariotti, the organisers Hayat Jmammou and Francois Xavier Balmelle, are happy to have the art exhibition until June 20th.

Vivamost had the chance to meet with artist Claude Roegiers during his presence at Art International in Zurich in the fall 2012. At GenevArtSpace he presents 4 paintings of an upcoming art collection called “Once upon a time” . He shared with us on his return to Paris that his paintings are shown as a preview to see how the public reacts to his new series. “When I create a new theme I like to get the feedback of an art connaisseur public and Geneva appeared to me like a perfect opportunity.” This collection could be commercialized sometimes in 2014.
