Liam Neeson and Diane Keaton come to the Zurich Film Festival

Two Hollywood stars will be at the 10th Zurich Film Festival, starting on September 25th. The team of the festival announced that Liam Neeson and Diane Keaton will be there to present their films.

The Oscar nominee Liam Neeson will present his newest film “A Walk Among The Tombstones” during a Gala Première on Friday, October 3rd at the Cinema corso.

The Irish actor Liam Neeson has received numerous awards and became popular for his role as Oskar Schindler, in “Schindler’s List” (1993), directed by Steven Spielberg.
Other of his amazing performances are in the films “Nell” (1994),”Michael Collins” (1996), “Les Misérables” playing Jean Valjean (1998), “Star Wars Episode” playing Qui-Gon Jinn (1999),”Kinsey” (2004) and “Third Person” (2013).
The American actress Diane Keaton is coming on October 1st to Zurich to receive the most prestigious award of the festival, the Golden Icon Award.

The festival directors Nadja Schildknecht and Karl Spoerri said in a press release “We’re honored to present the Festival’s Golden Icon Award to Diane Keaton as she continues to build on her amazing career. Her longevity is a testament to her ability to consistently reinvent and challenge herself, explore new creative avenues, and her overall prowess as one of the greatest actresses of our generation. We’re honored to recognize her brilliant career at the Zurich Film Festival.”
Diane Keaton will also present her newest movie, the romantic comedy “And So It Goes”, directed by Rob Steiner and with co-star Michael Douglas.
She received an Oscar for her role in “Annie Hall” (1977). During her long career she played in over sixty movies like  “Reds” (1981), “The Godfather Part III” (1990), “Marvin’s Room” (1996) and  “Something’s Gotta Give” (2003) with co-star Jack Nicholson.
