Until May 12th: Marc Chagall paintings at the Kunsthaus

Until June 30st: Swiss Press Photo 13,the 90 best photos of the Swiss Press at the Landesmuseum

May 3rd until May 26th: World Press Photo, photo exhibition from Keystone at Sihlcity – Folium (Kalanderplatz 6)

Until September 8th: exhibition about the Swiss song writer Mani Matter at the Landesmuseum

CIRCUS:

May 3nd until June 2nd: Family Knie comes back for new circus performances at the Landiwiese. For tickets click here.

 

FOOD & DRINK:

May 1st, 4th & 5th from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.: Open wine caves in Zurich. For more info check here

May 3rd “The show must go on” , show from Jérôme Bel  at the Schiffbau

May 4th from 6:00 p.m: dancing at the Zurich main train station

May 5th: Tango crash course for free from 11:00 a.m. for 1 hour at Bürkli terrace

Until June 2nd: Ich war noch niemals in New York, a musical with the best hits from Udo Jürgens at Theater 11

 

TEA TIME:

May 31st: tea at Jelmoli with sommelier Peter Rindlisbacher. Learn all about tea and of course eat some scones while drinking tea. 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.  Price CHF 60 with a discount for Jelmoli card holders CHF 50.

May 5th, 21st, 27th & 31st:Tennessee Williams play “Cat on a hot tin roof” (Die Katze auf dem heissen Blechdach) directed by Stefan Pucher with actors Tabea Bettin, Jan Bluthardt, Jean-Pierre Cornu, Jonas Gygax, Julia Jentsch, Nicolas Rosat, Markus Scheumann and Friederike Wagner.

At the Pfauen theatre in Zurich and with English surtitles on May 21st.
