Would like to spend one memorable evening this Winter and are looking for ideas? Then, if you enjoy ice-skating and live music, why not giving Art on Ice a try?
The Hallenstadion in Zurich will welcome the show for the 19th time from February 27th to March 2nd. In 2013 90,000 visitors came to see the sold-out shows in Zurich, Davos and Lausanne.
As the previous years it is promising to be an amazing spectacle. Many solo and pair skaters are coming like the “queen of the ice” Sarah Meier, who has been there since 2002. The well beloved Swiss ice-skater Stéphane Lambiel will be part of the show just like the 2011 European Champion, Florent Amodio, Kurt Browning, Joannie Rochette or the pairs Tatiana Volosozhar & Maxim Trankov, Aljona Savchenko & Robin Szolkowy and Nathalie Péchalat & Fabian Bourzat.
Many of them will take part of the Winter Olympics Games in Sotchi from February 9th to the 20th.
The British duo, Hurts (Theo Hutchraft and Adam Anderson) is the main group for Art on Ice 2014. Who has not heard their singles “Wonderful Life” and “Miracle”! Loreen, the winner of the Eurovision song competition in 2012 with “Euphoria” will be there just like the pianist Khatia Buniatishvili, the hip-hop dancer Gev Manoukian and the humourous group Mummenschanz.
So if you have not already done so, there is still time to order tickets.
