The Zurich fair for delicacies, regional and gourmet food is back in Zurich this week. It will be the 19th Gourmesse this year at the Congress hall. The organizer, the Magazine Salz & Pfeffer, expects 10,000 visitors during the 4 days.
There will be numerous seminars, workshops and cooking shows. Check out the program and come early for the cooking shows as they get full quickly. Arno Sgier, Chef at Restaurant Traube in Trimbach, Antonio Colaianni from Restaurant Mesa in Zurich, David Martinez Salvany from Restaurant Clouds in Zurich, Marius Frehner from Tapas Bar Tinto in Zurich, Denis Punchert from Spice Restaurant Rigiblick and many more will be there.
This year the Gourmesse invited the region of South Tirol. Visitors will be able to drink Italian wine and grappa and taste many chocolates.
Would you like to try some Swiss caviar, some cheese from Bern or Jersey Blue from Willi Schmid, some olive oil, some Jamon Iberico de Bellota or some specialties from Thurgau, then visit the Gourmesse from October 4th to October 7th.
