Vivamost mentioned about Jucker Farm’s amazing Pumpkin exhibition and festival just last month – September – and here happens the championship already. If you missed it, click here for the earlier article. Jucker Farm celebrated Pumpkin weighing championship on October 6th, 2019 and is thrilled to announce the winners today. Although the winning pumpkin couldn’t cross the highest record of 953.5 kgs, it was close enough at 950 kgs.
As remarkable as it can get, this year’s proud winner, Beni Meier, is also the holder of Swiss record for the heaviest pumpkin in same championship. He missed his 2014 record by 3.5 kgs due to difficult summer this year. However, it was not that bad either as the championship also welcomed many new comers.
In second position stands, Martin Knellwolf, with 476.4 kgs pumpkin and in third position comes the new comer from St. Moritz, Alessio Muscas, with 465 kgs pumpkin.
