Almost one year ago Lindt hosted a lighting event at its Swiss chocolate headquarters in Kilchberg in the Canton of Zurich.
They welcomed 8000 visitors, who had come to admire Gerry Hofstetter’s light illuminations and see tennis champion Roger Federer, press the button starting the event.
Mr Ernst, CEO and Chairman of Chocoladefabriken Lindt & Sprüngli AG and many Master Chocolatiers such as Urs Liechti were also there.
For almost a quarter of an hour adults and children stood in front of the factory marvelling at the beautiful light display on the facade while listening to Christmas music.
All had come despite the cold and rainy weather that day. The children had the chance to meet Santa Claus in his cabin behind the factory.
This is an event that those present will not quite forget for a long time.
This year, Roger Federer, Ambassador for Lindt since 2009, will be meeting with the winners of the raffle. While Lindt will not host a lighting event, the factory will still be lit like in the previous years.
If you want to bring your children to see the festive decorations outside the Lindt factory, it should be ready around November 1oth. The Christmas shop is already open every day of the week except Sundays (Monday to Friday from 10am-6pm and Saturday from 10am- 5pm).
Have a look. I am sure you will find something unique to decorate your tree, your table or just to eat!
