A bit of romance, style and elegance for Mother’s Day:
About forty-five people gathered at the Onyx bar of the Zurich Park Hyatt hotel for a lovely and relaxing brunch on Sunday. The occasion was Mother’s Day, a day for love, receiving and sharing.
While the Park Hyatt had taken care of the catering, the event was sponsored by the Champagne label, Moët Hennessy.
Moët & Chandon, which started in 1743, launched a new collection in January 2014, called “Tie-for-Two”. It celebrates the precious ties that link us with those we love. “The Moët black tie which enrobes the neck of each bottle is the signature of the brand. It has dressed the House’s legendary champagne bottles since 1886. For more than 125 years, the Moët & Chandon black tie has acted as a mark of the House’s exceptional quality and savoir-faire, and an indicator of the heritage of the champagne held within the bottle,” explains Christelle Huwiler, PR manager for Moët Hennessy.
The rosé imperial, is very fruity and has a great bouquet and an amazing pink colour. “Tie-for Two” is perfect with a gazpacho, a sea bass or a fruit salad with mint. Moët & Chandon is owned by the French group Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy, who also produces other well-known Champagne brands such as Veuve-Clicquot, Krug, Hennessy and Dom-Pérignon.
Everyone had of course the opportunity to taste this special Champagne during the entire brunch. The food served was a combination of cold and warm meals, like some benedict eggs, some fine bread and cheese, fresh fruits, rhubarb crumble with vanilla sauce, lemon pie, fig cake and cupcakes.
At the end of the brunch all the guests returned home with a souvenir, a beautiful rose!
