Are you tired of going to the playground?
I am not.
Are you looking for unforgettable places for your children to play at?
Since my son learned to walk, I have been going to playgrounds. Almost 3 years of playgrounds for me, so let me tell you that I have to love it as much as my son to want to go there.
It could be hard especially in the Winter or on rainy days. And you know weather does not stop kids from wanting to jump, slide or climb up!
So, tired of basic playgrounds in the city of Zurich, I found some with character with lovely views.
Here are some of the best playgrounds I can recommend in alpine and lake areas:
Graubunden: Grindelwald – alpine playground at the Bort station
The view is so amazing that I could have stayed there all day!
Graubunden: playground at the restaurant in front of the First cable
Graubunden : playground of Laax
The view was so nice from the playground that I took more the lake and mountain scenery than the playground itself. The playground was big and for all ages.
Graubunden: a Flims playground
This playground was new and had places for the parents to sit on.
Graubunden: Klosters Madrisaland
It looks like a lot of fun for the summer.
Wallis: playground at the hotel Alex in Zermatt
Schwyz: alpine playground on top of Mt Ezel/Kulm
No matter how many times we go there, our son never ceases to have a great time!
Obwalden: playground at the restaurant in Trubsee
Obwalden: Melchsee Frutt playground
Just when you exit the gondola, you will find a small playground. It belongs to the restaurant. Your children will find balls and toys inside. There is also a slide outside.
Austria: St. Anton in Voralberg
A wooden playground in good shape with amazing views.
Zurich: playground at the campground of Türlersee
Zurich: Uetliberg playground on the way back to Triemli by foot
St Gallen: a playground at the Knie Zoo in Rapperswil
If your kids get bored at looking at the animals, there are plenty of playgrounds there. This quite high slide amused my son for a long time.
Zurich: playground in Enge at the bottom of the Rietberg park
You will find some slides and a place to play in the sand. It is very convenient with public transportation.
Zurich: playground at the airport for smaller children
Why not the airport playground? Your children may enjoy a visit at the airport to check out the airplanes.
Have fun and hope you will enjoy the views!
