About Natacha
Since her childhood has always drawn and wanted to make it her job. She was born in São Paulo, Brazil, and spent her childhood there. It was as a teenager that she came to Switzerland, to Geneva. She studied art at a college and then she did a bachelor’s degree in Visual Communication, graphic design option at ECAL from 2004 to 2008. Illustration has always been part of her graphic work.
Her story
Since then, she has decided to become a freelance illustrator and to create her brand, * LET ME FLY *, in parallel. Mom of a little Lisa, born in June 2017, she works as a freelance from her office that she installed at home. She goes several times a month to a collective screen printing workshop, where she gives life to her creations on several supports. She likes to pay hommage to each element that she illustrates by devoting time to it and putting in as much detail as possible. What creates her dream world is a combination of several elements, birds, flowers, clouds, plants, lace, feathers and embroidery.
Her business
* LET ME FLY *
In 2008, she created her brand * LET ME FLY * in which we find her illustrations reproduced on several supports: enameled metal crockery, stationery, notebooks, greeting cards, notepad or even fabric, bags, clothes, cotton shopping bags, gym bags or even organic cotton baby bodysuits. We also find her illustrations printed in serigraphy on carefully chosen papers and then framed to decorate commercial spaces as well as homes and children’s rooms. She is also fortunate to produce murals for her clients.
These call on me to develop projects such as visual identities, publishing houses, corporate greeting cards, business cards, logos, lettering, birth and wedding announcements, or again for city guides.
She had the pleasure of working for Caran d’Ache, Kazalma éditions, Urban Map, the Espace d’Art gallery, UNAIDS, The Library of Geneva, The City of Carouge, Edelweiss Magazine (Bolero), University of Geneva, Bibliothèques de Genève, Alpeor, Graine de Shopping, Sarah Marquis, Geneva Airport…
She does several exhibitions of her illustrations in several spaces.
At the present time
These days she is working on a special collection of tote bags illustrated for Geneva Airport 100th Birthday, a moon diary, a visual identity for a psychological counselor and her new collection for her brand Let Me Fly.
