Pret-A-Diner comes to Zurich

After Berlin, Munich, Frankfurt, Monaco and London, Pret A Diner is now in Zurich until June 2nd. German businessman  Klaus Peter Kofler, originally from Bad Homburg, started Pret à Diner in 2004 with Olivia Steele.

 

If you are wondering what Pret-A-Diner or Ready for Dinner is, it is a Pop-Up restaurant for a temporary period of time.  The first dinner experience began in 2011 in Berlin Germany.

The team from “Kofler & Kompanie” always chooses amazing places to have their restaurants. They have been in palaces, museums and at the Tree House in Frankfurt. Pret-A-Diner attracts many VIPs like Sean Penn, Bod Geldof and Herbert Grönemeyer in March 2011.

 

In Zurich two renown chefs will be preparing a three-course meal. They are Tim Raue and the sushi cook Oliver “Ollysan” Lange. Ollysan has been awarded 14 Gault Millau Points at his restaurant Kokoro in Munich and has been seen on the TV show “Restaurant sucht Chef”. Tim Raue, the 2 Michelin Stars chef, owns his restaurant in Berlin Tim Raue and has received 19 Gault Millau Points.

There will be live entertainment over the weekend. On Thursday night Swiss singer Seven, who was twice at Art on Ice, was there with his band.

Friday night artists: DJ Muri & DJ Cem, DJ Simi Amor, DJ M&M

Saturday night: Ray Douglas, Rolf Imhof, Whiz Kid & Special Guest

Sunday night: Animal Trainer, After Grauer & Guests, Gold & Silver

The venue is taking place at the wharf hall in Zurich Wollishofen. It is highly recommended to book online or call in advance.
