Spiritualism Art The first Indian art movement in the form of an “-ism introduced by Shiva Guruji Aruneshvar

“Art is an expression of my soul. The paintings of Shiva are images of light, life & what goes beyond.”

Energy of Prosperity & Wisdom, Mahalaxmi Painting on canvas, 60x80cm, mixed technique

It all began more than 30 years ago, when the young artist Shiva Guruji Aruneshvar began his journey of self-discovery and exploration. Although he came from a spiritual family, his journey was his own and his art became his means of expression. With every brushstroke Shiva Guruji brought the beautiful poetry of his soul to blossom on canvas, and his visions of Shiva took shape in swirls of color.

Shiva Guruji’s enlightening forms enter into silent harmony with creation to touch the inner spirituality of each soul. Created in numerous layers, with subtle nuances, each painting communicates on different levels, revealing the secrets of the universal wisdom of the Himalayas. Each white canvas demanded of the awakened artist to surpass himself, to go beyond the limitations of body and mind and to reach a higher level of consciousness and understanding of consciousness.

Trained by 21 Himalayan Masters, Shiva Guruji began to bring his visions to life through the paintings. Thus, he introduced “Spiritualism”, the first Indian art movement in the form of “-ism”.
Spiritualism includes the cultural heritage of the Himalayas and the soul of India. What is part of the everyday life of thousands of people finds expression in this art.
It is about going beyond the material dimension of human existence and opening up a spiritual dimension. It is a way of life.

In India, art is part of life in ceremonies and prayers with images of gods. However, Shiva Guruji’s definition of Shiva goes beyond Hindu religion, art, culture and an Indian form of God. For Shiva Guruji SHIVA is a message for Humanity and means:
Synergy with yourself
Harmony for Humanity
Initiation & Inspiration
Vastness & Vibration
Acceptance & Art

Energy of Soul & Heart consciousness: See with your Heart
Painting on canvas, 60x80cm; mixed media

The artist and Master emphasis the importance of acceptance: accepting everything and everyone in this world. Instead of rejecting, we should accept. Instead of complaining, we should create. Instead of reacting, we should act! Shiva Guruji encourages all of us to contribute with our treasure, time and talent, then “givers get”, a universal law of nature.
“The more you give, you receive. As yourself everyday, how can I contribute?”

Spiritualism Art is the art of universal spirituality and was introduced by Shiva Guruji Aruneshvar as the first Indian art movement in the form of “-ism” in Paris, the cultural centre where cultural movements such as Impressionism, Surrealism, Expressionism and Cubism were nourished and developed.

Transformative – this is how the art paintings of Shiva Guruji can be described, because his art inspires the viewer to go beyond the physical and material dimension. It moves the viewer and transforms him.
Shiva Guruji is an awakened artist and through his art the Master transmits universal wisdom of the Himalayas, with reference to the Shiva Dhyan Yoga meditations. Shiva Guruji first initiated this experiential meditation method at the Matterhorn in Switzerland. The different hand gestures (mudras) can be recognized in Shiva Guruji’s unique art work. The artist depicts the state of thoughtlessness and unity with everything: Oneness, with the inner essence and cosmic consciousness. The energy pictures are created in different layers and reveal the essence of life and looking at the paintings you can actually feel the energy in them.
