If you love wine and are looking for something to do in November, the 57th wine fair is taking place in Zurich from November 4th through November 18th, 2010.

It is opened every day until 10 p.m. except Sundays (7 p.m.).
The town of Richterswil will again have its well-known turnip parade on Saturday November 13th, 2010. It happens each year since 1905 the second Saturday of November.
The parade of 1 km will go through the streets with about 1000 children holding turnips and lights. Last year 17,500 visitors came to enjoy the show on the Zurich lake. There were 50,000 lights.
If you are interested, the parade starts at 6:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
The third largest tennis indoor tournament in the world celebrates this year its 40th anniversary. What a better way to celebrate with the victory of its native champion Roger Federer. Bravo Roger!
On Nov. 7th Federer (2) beat the Serb Novak Djokovic (3) in final: 6:4-3:6-6:1.
More than 9,000 spectators came to watch the game at the Jakobshalle.
Roger Federer, born in Basel loves the tournament and is the first player to have won it four times (2010, 2008, 2007 & 2006). In 2009, Federer lost the final against Novak Djokovic.
If you missed the tennis tournament and the final, both players will be back in November 2011.
Since November 2nd, the moving theater is back. It will stay in Bellevue until March 14th, 2011. The theater arrived from Stäfa and will be in Männedorf in March.
