Along my walks in Switzerland, either in the countryside or in the city parks I encountered many places, which made me want to pause and reflect. All paths had benches offering breathtaking views of alpine fields, meadows, trees or a calm pond surrounded by colorful flowers.
Follow me around Switzerland. Here are the places I enjoyed the most:
Belvoir Park
This picture was taken in the late morning in July. A couple was enjoying the hot summer day.

Sihl forest, Leimbach
I took this shot in the afternoon at the beginning of November. I was strolling through the paths leading to the forest when I discovered this beautiful and peaceful place.

Promenade in Ascona
This beautiful promenade is located in the village of Ascona, in the province of Tessin near Locarno. It was a hot day this August and tourists were enjoying the view of the Maggiore lake under the trees.

Zimmerberg
This shot was taken at the turning point of my hike this September. It was a peaceful time in the evening with the sun coming down.

Lake of Wägital
At 2952 feet/900 meters, this man-made lake was the perfect spot for a Fall afternoon. What an ideal place to rest for a moment!

Locarno, Monte Cimetta (5482 feet/1671 meters)
At the top of my hike was this wooden bench. The view of the lake of Maggiore and surrounding mountain peaks was breathtaking.

Zugerberg (3822 feet/1165 meters)
I enjoyed this bench last fall on the way back from a walk. We wanted to look at the autumn leaves that day.
