Tennis: the Masters are about to start in London
Who will win the Masters, the last tennis tournament of the year?
After last night’s opening charity gala for the Great Ormond Children Hospital at the Royal Court of Justice, the best players in the world are about to start with the Barclays World Tour Finals.

The finals will take place at the O2 Arena from No 5th – Nov 12th.
The eight players, who have qualified this year are:
- Roger Federer from Switzerland (2), 6 times winner in 2011, 2010, 2007, 2006, 2004 & 2003
- Novak Djokovic from Serbia (1), winner in 2008
- Andy Murray, from Great Britain (3)
- David Ferrer from Spain (5)
- Tomas Berdych, from the Czech Republic (6)
- Jo-Wilfried Tsonga from France (7), last year finalist
- Juan Martin Del Potro, from Argentina (8)
- Janko Tipsarevic from Serbia: first participation
Since the beginning of the Masters 42 years ago (1970), Roger Federer is the player, who has won the most finals, followed by American Pete Sampras (5), Czech Ivan Lendl (5), Romanian Ilie Nastase (4) and American John McEnroe (3).
The players have to play three matches each.
The Tennis Cup, which has been in London since 2009, will be there through next year. This year the BBC will broadcast live the games. For the program click here

Tuesday: Federer against Tipsarevic & Ferrer against Del Potro
Rafael Nadal (4) withdrew due to a knee injury.
