Lucern will once again be on the spotlight when the second light festival starts tomorrow.
The festival, called LILU, will last 10 nights from January 9th to January 19th and feature international artists. Those artists created 19 magnificent light shows and animations.
The tour lasts about 2 hours and is free of charge. It brings the visitors through the old town and on the Riviera. Some highlights are the facades of the Schweizerhof hotel, some ghosts in the Furrengasse, the Keys of Light at the Pavillon on the Nationalquai and Les amours en cage.
The festival starts daily at 6 pm and ends at 22 pm. Guided tours can be organized at a cost. In addition the Artist collective Projektil has created a show called Genesis 2 at the Lucerne’s Church of St. Leodegar. The show lasts 20 minutes.
