The 4th season of Daniel Hope with ZKO begins on 22.10

In less than 10 days Music Director Daniel Hope will open the new season of the Zurich Chamber Orchestra at the Tonhalle Maag at 7.30pm.

The fourth season of Daniel Hope is a new series called “Hope and friends.” The director is thankful about the adventurous path he took with his musicians during the last three years and he will welcome them first on the stage.

Together they will play masterpieces from old masters like Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Felix Mendelssohn, John Rutter and Tchaikovsky.

The programme for the evening is as followed:

• Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart Adagio and Fugue in C minor KV 546
• Felix Mendelssohn Violin Concerto D minor
• John Rutter Suite for string orchestra, based on British folk melodies
• Piotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky String Serenade C Major op. 48 

 “Hope and Friends” series will continue in December, January, February and June.
