Sports Awards 2020: Who will be the best Sportsperson of the last 70 years?

Like all the major events this year, our very own sports awards also going to be celebrated in a secluded environment giving a break to the annual glitz. However, there is no lack of victories, track records and extraordinary athletes. In fact, this year the athletes will compete with the best of the last 70 years for the coveted title in the Sports, Team, Coach and Paralympic athlete categories.

The best of them will be honoured during the program “Sports Awards – the crème de la crème of the last 70 years” broadcast live on December 13th. Viewers will be able to follow the event live from 8:05 p.m. on SRF 1, RTS 2 and RSI LA 2. During the live broadcast, viewers will also be able to vote for their favourite. Half of the final result will come from the Sports Awards Academy vote and half from the public. The winner in the Team category will have been designated before the broadcast by a public televote. As for the Paralympic Athlete and Coach categories, it is the Sports Awards Academy which will directly appoint the best representative.
