10 best pictures of my Italian trip to Tuscany and Milan

I just spent 9 amazing days in Italy in Tuscany driving through the Chianti region and discovering or rediscovering Florentine sights. On the way back I stopped in Milan.

I was surprised how much I was able to do with a 3 years old child. He was quite a good traveler and took part of most churches and palaces visits!

On the program were the towns of Radda, Castellina, Vertine, San Gimignano, Monteriggioni and the abbey of Badia a Coltibuono. We headed to Siena to do a complete tour of the cathedral, crypt, baptistery and museum before arriving at the magnificent town square, Il Campo.

In Florence in addition to the Vecchio Palace and cathedral that I already knew I managed an in depth visit of Santa Croce and stopped at the Romanesque church San Miniato al Monte near Michelangelo Square.

Here are the places I will remember the most about my Italian trip:

1. Gothic cathedral of Siena

It is without a doubt one of the nicest cathedrals I have ever seen.
