Backstage with Jacqueline – Charles Voegele Kids Fashion Show
Friendly, outgoing with a sporty look, Jacqueline has already big plans for her future:
After the Kids Fashion Show on 12/11/11, I met with 10 years old Jacqueline, who participated in the first Collection of Charles Voegele.
She kindly took some time to respond to some of my questions. Let’s see what experience she has, wants to do when she grows up and what she liked the most about the fashion show:
Vivamost: Is this your first Fashion Show?
Jacqueline: No, my fourth one. I started at the age of 9 with Manor. Then I did Voegele last year, then Manor this year and today Charles Voegele.

Vivamost: Was it your idea to come here to the show today?
Jacqueline: My mother saw a flyer in a Charles Voegele store and asked me if I wanted to
participate and I said Yes.
Vivamost: Why did you want to participate?
Jacqueline: It is funny when people see you on the big screen. I like to be in the center of attention.
Vivamost: Was your father or mother a model before?
Jacqueline: No
Vivamost: Do you have a brother or a sister who participated at a Fashion Show before?
Jacqueline: Yes, my bigger sister (today 13 years old) did the Charles Voegele Fashion show last year with me.

Vivamost: Would you like to do the Charles Voegele Fashion Show again?
Jacqueline: Maybe…it could happen.
Vivamost: Do you want to be a Fashion Model when you grow up?
No hesitation for JacquelineJacqueline: No, I would like to become a fashion designer.
Vivamost: Did you already sign up for Fashion Shows for next year?
Jacqueline: No, I haven’t, not yet.
Vivamost: How long did it you to get ready for today’s show?
Jacqueline: I got up at 6:00 a.m, left home at 7:00 a.m. I had to be here at 7:30 a.m. Here we had two practice runs then a buffet where we could eat. Then we had time for the hairdresser and make-up.
The kids did not have too much makeup.
Vivamost: How many times did you have to change clothes?
Jacqueline: Just one time for the first collection.
Vivamost: What was more difficult your Casting by Charles Voegele for your selection or today?
Jacqueline: I did not do any castings. I live too far away. I tried the clothes today for the
first time. I was lucky everything fit.
Vivamost: What for a size or weight did you have to be?
Jacqueline: it did not matter.
Vivamost: How did you find the Charles Voegele Fashion Show today?
Jacqueline: I was a little bit nervous… you have to walk alone and people look at you. But I was more nervous last year I think.
Vivamost: Were you able to sleep well last night before the show?
Jacqueline: Yes.
Vivamost: What did you like the most about today’s show?
Jacqueline: Making my hairstyle, looking like a Prominent and looking at myself when hairdresser makes my hair.
She said it took 20-30 minutes for her hairstyle.
As you can see Jacqueline is already a professional with her fourth fashion show. But it does not mean she wants to be a model one day. No, no, said Jacqueline, “I would like to be a Fashion Designer”.
