I went to visit the Knie Zoo on the Landiwiese in Zurich this weekend. For the first time the Knie Circus is having its shows just next to the Mythenquai on the Zurich lake. I was gladly surprised that you can sit and watch the horses warming up for the evening show.

The Knie Circus, which celebrated its 100 year anniversary last year, will be in Zurich until June 6th. The show lasts about 2h30 minutes and is well worth the price. This year again, the comedian, Joseph Gorgoni plays Marie-Thérèse Porchet as part of the show.

The zoo was larger than I had expected it and it had an amazing number of horses and poneys. Children can take rides mornings and afternoons with a break for lunch. The zoo is 6 CHF for adults and 3 CHF for children above 3.
