Accompanied by a five-piece band performing Irish hits by Ed Sheeran, U2, Hozier, Van Morrison and Ronan Keating through to The Cranberries, up-and-coming dancers from Dublin prove just how versatile and modern Irish dance can be. Talented performers who danced in hit shows such as Riverdance and Lord of the Dance founded their own company and, with “Dublin Nights”, are showcasing what they have always wanted to do: move away from pure folklore towards modern dance, without losing sight of their roots. “Dublin Nights” breathes new life into Irish dance.
