Toggenburg region
If you don’t know what to do for the Valentine day weekend I recommend a walk I did last weekend. On a sunny day with warm clothes and good shoes on, walk from Chäserrugg at 2262 meters to see magnificent views of the 7 Churfirsten peaks. In Toggenburg you will be quickly in a winter wonderland. It can be quite icy in some parts, so if you have snowshoes and hiking sticks, bring them with you. Count 1 hour for the walk.
If you live in Zurich, you need about 1h20 minutes, direction St. Gallen. Reachable from Unterwasser and Alt St. Johann.
