The “Emma” Foxtrail opens

BLS and Foxtrail have something in common with Kambly as well as the Municipalities of Langnau i. E., Schüpfheim and Trubschachen. They created one Foxtrail with rail travel. That’s what they do – the participants go searching of a missing person Locomotive.

Solve animal puzzles, crack codes, control a locomotive – BLS and Foxtrail Schweiz GmbH have created a Foxtrail in Emmental and Entlebuch with rail travel. From March 26th the new Foxtrail “Emma” is waiting for big ones and little explorers. The times can now be found on the Foxtrail website or in

Locomotive simulator as a highlight 

The story of the “Emma” Foxtrail is based on the children’s book “Jim Knopf and Lukas the engine driver »by the German writer Michael Ende. The participants follow in the footsteps of the missing locomotive Emma
tore out to discover the Entlebuch and the Emmental. 

The search for “Emma” can optionally start at the train station in Langnau i. E. or in Schüpfheim and ends in Trubschachen. The participants do handicrafts on the way even a key, put a disused pumping station into operation and get help from a teddy bear.
