Letters at the time of Corona

Dear self,
I would like to write you these new letters at the time of Corona. I need you to remember only love letters can help at these hard times.

Letter one, don’t be panic.
We all are going to die. If you have to die, let it be once. Don’t let fear kill you many times.

Letter two, use fear as motivator.
You’re scared and it’s your right to be scared especially in a crowded place with very limited resources and longtime blockade like Gaza but use this fear as a motivator. Stay home, wash your hands, clean the surfaces, strengthen your immunity, move at home and eat more vegetable and stay away from junk food.

Letter three, don’t be scared of god.
Remember, god is smart. He doesn’t have the intelligence of a spoiled child. If you died, stand before him and you weren’t the perfect believer by a certain rule or book, he would know your heart, he would understand the you were honest, true to yourself, you made no harm and you were searching for the truth. Remember, questions and thinking aren’t sins.

Letter four, smile, smile and smile.
I know the world has a hard time and your heart has a hard time too yet I want you to smile even if in front of the mirror. Smile and have faith. Faith in god, humanity even if it’s broken and science. Keep strong and smile.

Letter five, stop and think.
Maybe it’s not quite the time but I want you to think. Stop and think of yourself and of the world and our planet even with the feeling that you are an alien. Maybe we make some harm and maybe it’s time to think of it from a different angle.

Letter six, thank 2019
With what the world is going through and the sad events start with the beginning of 2020 and as you don’t have the ability to return time back or you’re too home to invent a time machine, just thank 2019 for being very nice and lovely.

Letter seven, let’s keep singing.
Let’s keep singing together for love, life and passion. I know the word “death” can be scary but it’s a scary time to the whole world and nothing could beat fear and keep our hearts warm like love and solidarity. Just keep love and hope that this disaster will end soon and don’t let the song stop.
