What to do in Zürich in April & May

Here are a few activities for the months of April and May 2011:

Sechseläuten: April 10th & 11th – Sunday: children’s parade at 2:00 p.m. and Monday: burning of the Böögg at 6:00 p.m.

Indian Paintings – Dazzling Visions: until April 10th at the Rietberg museum

Verdi: Messa di Requiem  on April 15th & 16th at the Tonhalle  and Rigoletto on April 16th at the Zurich opera.

Marathon of Zurich: April 17th starting on the Mythenquai

Brunch for Easter on top of Uetliberg: April 24th & 25th at Uto Kulm restaurant

Knie Circus: May 5th to June 5th on the Landiwiese

Swiss Press Photo exhibition: May 6th-July 17th at the Landesmuseum

Zucchero: 9th & 10th of May at Hallenstadium

Les Ballets Trockadero:  May 18-21st at Theater 11

Giacometti – The art of seeing: exhibition until May 22d at the Kunsthaus
