INSTAGRAM – How to grow your business profile

Over the last years Instagram has turned into the most powerful social network. Around 1 billion people use it every month and 63% of users log in at least once per day. Instagram’s potential advertising reach is 849.3 million users. This makes it one of the most influential platforms for business. 

Many people believe that competition on Instagram became too tough, and, therefore, newcomers have no chances to grow. Yes, it is hard to start from scratch, but not hopeless at all. In fact, any new profile can be developed into a big selling page in a relatively short period. You just have to follow some basic principles. 

Here are a few tips for developing your business page, winning new followers and getting more engagement:

– Identify your niche. Get to know your audience and speak to it in its language – this will help you to grow your fan base.

– Share photos of persons using your product. It is proven, that visual materials with people on average receive more attention than other posts. If you manage to get bloggers or celebrities promoting you, these numbers can skyrocket!

– Run Promotion Campaigns and Contests.  People like getting presents. If you offer to give something for free, it will boost your traffic and attract new followers. 

– Consider Instagram as a source of blogging. Although Instagram is primarily a visual platform, don’t underestimate the power of words. Your photos should be accompanied by interesting, engaging captions.

– Use videos and Instagram Stories. Instagram offers many various options for reaching your potential clients. To enhance your visual sharing publish short videos and create Stories posts.

– Ask your users a question. The best way to generate comments for your post is to ask your visitors to share their opinions and experiences. Questions are especially valuable when you want to research the market before making a change in your concept or if you consider bringing new product / service on display.

– Go behind the scenes. Any exclusive material will make your visitors feel emotionally attached and develop the feeling of mutual trust. 

– Be persistent! All things need some time, but if your account is informative and qualitative, results will definitely follow!
