IGEHO: the fair to be at for all hotels and restaurants

Next week Igeho will open its doors at the Basel Messe. The hotel and gastronomy fair is a huge event expecting 70,000 visitors from November 16th to the 20th. 

750 exhibitors from 16 countries will be there to present new products and exciting innovations. There will daily panel discussions and networking opportunities. For catering and take-away businesses, start-ups and newcomers it is the place to be. About 4000 students will be visiting the fair.

Young talents and professional chefs will come together to compete in cooking challenges. Well-known names in the field of gastronomie such as Tanja Grandits, Tim Raue and Patrick Mahler and Flavio Fermi are their sponsors for the occasion. Each battle to make one dish will last 1 hour.

Various topics are expected to be discussed such as “How do I make my company fit for the future?” ,”What is important for the guests and employees of tomorrow?”,How do we meet the guest needs of tomorrow? or “Where is Swiss tourism heading?” or «Instagram today»with CEO Thomas Hutter.
