News: Kambly celebrates its 100 years anniversary

Oscar Kambly, runs the Biscuit Company founded in 1910 in Trubschachen in the Emmental region in Switzerland, taking after his father and grandfather.

There is nothing like Kambly! Honestly the biscuits are so good and high quality. Just the perfect amount of butter, eggs, chocolate or nuts. No matter if it is the first original Bretzeli from 1910 or the newest creations, it is something everyone should have at home.

My favorites are the Butterfly (thin almond cookie), caprice (eggs and milk cookie in shape of a roll), Mont choco (with nuts, honey and chocolate in the shape of the Zermatt Peak), and of course the original cookie, the Kambly Bretzeli.

Can you imagine that the recipe has never been changed over the years even during the World wars, when there were shortages of flour and sugar. The flour today even comes from the exact same place as at the beginning.

The company employs 420 people. Fifty countries can find the delicious biscuits in their home country. 50% of revenues come from the exportation of its biscuits. Kambly has received many prizes and recognition over the years such as the `Brand Excellence Swiss Trophy’ in 2003.

To celebrate, Kambly offers some activities like baking cookiescooking for adults and children. Kambly even has a train which you can take from Lucerne and Bern.
