Vero’s Happy Travels is 1 Year Old!

Vero’s Happy Travels is celebrating its first year anniversary. It has been a lot of fun writing and reporting about my favorite places.

Thanks for all your e-mails and support along the year.

Recently, in addition to my monthly cooking section, my long travel article at the beginning of the month, where to today ideas, family travels tips and my e-book Tim and Lily in Italy, I added some new categories to the site: Cathedrals, What’s up in Zurich and

Book a Trip.

I hope these new categories will help you booking your trip easier or find out what’s to do in Zurich city and in the Canton of Zurich.

It has been quite fascinating researching about the history of cathedrals and reporting about it for Vero’s Happy Travels. Already it brought you to the Cathedral St. Pierre in Poitiers, to St. Stephen’s Cathedral in Vienna, to Canterbury Cathedral and to the Basilica of St. Peter in Rome. In the next few months, you will travel to other sacred sites.

We visited gardens in the Spring and the Fall, castles, national Parks like the Grand Canyon.

Vero’s Happy Travels reported on the best skiing resorts in Switzerland, on chalets and on Swiss lakes and celebrations.

We traveled to Egypt, Austria, Crete and many Swiss mountains.

From time to time, I give tips to help family in their travels with children and recommend hikes good for strollers.

I would love to find out what you liked the best:

  • which article was your favorite’s this year?
  • what picture would you rank Nbr 1?
  • what section do you read the most?
  • which recipe did you like the best?
