Prevention

Wash hands with soap bars, and remember to increase moisturiser when at home, as constant washing will dry the skin on the hands.

Wash hands when you return home, then wash door handle.

Use soap and not anti bacterial or liquid soap

Soap molecules are made of lipids and therefore, similar to the corona lipid membranes. When we use soap bars to wash our hands, it damages their membranes and virus. Transmission is from contact (droplets, physical contact) so the best way to stay safe is to wash hands with soap bars and not touch your face. Liquid soap does not affect the corona virus.

If you have been outside for a walk or groceries, wash hands and take a shower to clean your skin.

Allow fresh air daily inside the home each day and use lemongrass to purify the air, it is anti viral.

Increase fresh vegetable and fruits in your diet and experiment with fresh herbs in your cooking: thyme, sage, rosemary, turmeric, lemongrass, chives, parsley; for their immune supporting properties.

Drink warm water with lemon, honey and thyme/sage.

Infuse thyme in your honey; rosemary or garlic in your olive oil.

Add small amounts of chilli to your meals, as it boosts immunity, circulation and is high in vitamin C.

Incorporate fresh sage, as it is anti bacterial and good for sore throats.

Use hydrogen peroxide to rinse mouth, eyes, & nose if you are worried about exposure.

Zinc 40 mg per day with food

The main lung herb with an affinity to Covid19 based on its similarity to SARS is (Andrographis paniculatta) Andrograhpis which was used in the treatment of SARS. SARS is a similar corno strain as Covid19. It protects the lungs and fights infection.
